A WALK ALONG ASOKE and PHETCHBURI

THIS IS SOME OF WHAT WE SEE ON OUR WAY TO AND FROM THE OFFICE EACH DAY.
It is about a 12 -15 walk to the Mission Office, depending on how many people we have to dodge.

Flowers for Spirit houses

The Klong is a canal, the longboat is called the Klong Monster.

This guy is at the bottom of the steps every day selling the same thing.
This is the Rotee Lady.  A Rotee is a crepe that you can put many things in.  The best is bananas and nutella.

At the Thailand Bangkok Mission Office parking lot.
It is 6:00 AM and we are as happy to see Elder Noyce as he appears to see us.

These fish look especially yummy.  I was tempted.....

Hot dogs seem to be a favorite food, the little ones with a bit of egg look pretty good.

Elder Grange stopping in at our favorite 7-11 for bread, milk and Thai Cheetos.  Which are real Cheetos, but here they make them with less florescent orange powder on them.

Corn on the cob always looks pretty good, but I hear it is not and I have not tried it myself.

  3. Bananas and nutella in a crepe? How can you resist? Sounds like all is going well on the mission. I'm sure you are missed in CO.

  4. I'm a little behind but I just caught up and I loved all the pictures. What a wonderful adventure you are having. So fun that your cousins came and Spencer and Erin. Looks like you had a really great time together. I bet it was so good to see them. Are the other kids going to make it over? Hope you are doing well. Love you both.

  5. Our son just got his mission call to Thailand! My husband's distant cousin told us about you and your blog! It will be a treat to read, but I want to start from the beginning! Christopher enters the Provo MTC on September 14!
